Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the managers' perceptions of the preferred colors in the facility designs and personnel clothing by the enterprises that provide fitness service as a recreation facility and to offer suggestions to the institutions. The study was designed as a qualitative research method. A total of 10 business managers among the recreation facility managers in İzmir province who voluntarily participated in this study constituted the study group. The semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers was used as the data collection tool. Data were analyzed using descriptive and content analysis methods, and they were coded under appropriate themes by using Nvivo 10 qualitative analysis program. According to analyzed results, the individuals receiving service from the recreation facility were offered the opportunity to participate in such recreational activities as Zumba, Bokwa-fitness, Pilates, Trx, Fitness, Gymnastics, Swimming, CrossFit, and spinning. "The language of colors" was classified into two categories by the perceptions of managers. In the first category, the colors of green, pink, white, red, grey, black, and yellow were preferred once or more. It was established that motivation and adaptation themes were mostly observed in the central theme of recreation facility by the colors preferred. In contrast, physical health, institutionalization, hierarchical structuring, facility harmony, and group dynamics themes intensify in the central theme of personnel.
