Summary/Abstract: The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and in Turkey. This growth brings along the issue of sustainability. At this point, sustainable tourism practices are important. Hotel businesses have an important place in the tourism sector. Today, when we look at the variety of services offered by hotel businesses, these services will meet almost all the needs of tourists. Applications in the process of providing these services make significant contributions to hotel businesses when evaluated within the scope of sustainable tourism. The concept of permaculture has become a notorious concept in recent years by bringing together different disciplines in the studies carried out in the name of sustainability and with a long-term and multi-benefit perspective. The Green Star ’application of the Ministry of Tourism is an application that encourages hotels to increase environmental awareness within the scope of sustainable tourism. In this study, the applicability of permaculture studies in a green star hotel in Manavgat Titreyengöl Region was investigated. Interview and observation techniques were used in the research. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the owner of the hotel and observations were conducted at various times. As a result, it has been shown that permaculture studies are very suitable for the nature of sustainable tourism, can be applied to this hotel with good planning and as a result will make significant contributions to the business.
