Summary/Abstract: Promotional activities are of great importance for countries that want to increase the number of tourists and tourism in come by making use of international tourism mobility. Promotional films, which are included in the promotional activities, are seen as an effective option in terms of the use of cultural assets and how these are perceived for visitors. Promotional films make it easier for countries to find demand in the foreign market and the values of the cultural assets used can be easily transferred to the touristic consumer. Tourism promotion, in which basic principles are determined by the state, has been shaped within the framework of five-year development plans. In the study, using the case study in qualitative research method, the principles and policies discussed in tourism promotion in the 1963-2023 five-year development plans were examined. At the same time, Tourism Promotion Film, which will be published in many countries in 2020, has been analyzed with content analysis and semiotics methods. At the end of the analysis, it emphasized that Turkey is a safe destination with its historical, cultural and natural environment; in the same time experience in a variety of nature-oriented and innovative approach point with Turkey, history, culture, religion, gastronomy, beauty was found that unfolds like fun.
