Summary/Abstract: Local foods, that different from society to society reflect the culture of the society to which they belong. It takes its final form with the developments and changes over time and is considered as the intangible heritage of the region. Today, local food culture has taken its place among the attractiveness factors of the destination. It is believed that the positive image formed in the minds of the consumers regarding the local foods will affect the destination image positively, thereby significantly contributing to the economy of the region. In this context, the aim of the study is to determine the image of Kilis and Syria cuisine which are existing in Ansar city Kilis province and the relationship between each other. In accordance with this purpose the universe of the research consists of the residents of Kilis province and 498 people from the said universe were reached through a questionnaire. According to the results of the correlation analysis performed in this study, it has been determined that there is a significant very weak negative relationship between Kilis cuisine image dimensions and Syrian cuisine image dimensions. However, the image of Syria cuisine was determined to be below the average of Kilis cuisine image. In addition to this, Kilis cuisine image differs according to the marital status, age, education level, occupation and nationality of the participants. Syrian cuisine image differs according to gender, age, monthly income, occupation and nationality of the participants.
