Summary/Abstract: The concept of inspection is based on very ancient dates. However, there is almost no theoretical or scientific study on tour and tourist guidance inspection. There is no study on perceptions, satisfaction or victimization of tourist guides on this issue. This research was carried out to determine the perceptions of tourist guides about tour and tourist guide inspection and whether tourist guides experienced victimization during inspections. This study is considered to be important for informing both the guides and the tourism stakeholders, especially the travel agencies, who are the main employers of tourist guides. The sample of the study consists of 158 tourist guides and their responses to the questionnaires were analyzed with the statistical data analysis program developed for social sciences. As a result, it has been determined that tourist guides are satisfied with the behavior of the inspectors during the inspections and that they did not suffer from the inspections. They trust the profession because of the inspections and inspectors. At the same time, because of inspections and inspectors, tourist guides have gained information about the inspection during the inspections.
