Summary/Abstract: public In democratic societies governed by respect for the law, the police undertake the traditional functions of preventing, detecting and combating crime, for the protection of public order, upholding the law and protecting fundamental rights. In exercising the tasks of maintaining order, the police can find out if the use of coercive measures, the use of force. Can not conceive police performance of duties outside the possibility to use force, and, on the other hand, can not conceive human rights under uncontrolled use of force.
