Summary/Abstract: Domestic violence is a complex phenomenon and it is crucial knowledge and awareness of this phenomenon to have an adequate response from the authorities and motivation to undertake appropriate steps. The specificity of this study is the fact that the work put in foreground recent legal changes in Romania and in the world to regulate and criminalize offenses in the sphere of domestic, which shows that the whole world focuses not only on perpetrators, but also on victims.
