Summary/Abstract: This article fits in the science of history, addressing the historical perspective in media coverage of crime. The scientific study of crime is relatively recent, recorded toward the end of the 18th century and early 19th century corresponds with emergence of the press and interest awarded by the phenomena of crime. The history of crime includes multiple lines of research, but media reported-crime in our country has been studied very little. The authors of crimes and their motives have unsettled the world and it continues to create buzz as these are controversial topics that can arouse curiosity and interest among historians. In terms of crime phenomena, we can identify the level of civilization, development and operation of the Romanian society in the interwar period. Crime and its consequences in the interwar era will be a concern in terms of changes in the legislative framework, the effervescence recorded in the political arena and in terms of national development in relation to the European Development rhythm.
