Summary/Abstract: Along with the death penalty, cloning human beings, organ transplantation, euthanasia, abortion is one of the controversial issues concerning the right to life. Legal analysis of the issue of abortion, the voluntary interruption of pregnancy, based on the analysis of the right to life, requires consideration of the beginning and end of legal protection of the right to life of a person. Abortion is one of the most discussed issues in the literature and not only should be analyzed from many points of view both legal and moral or religious, philosophical, economic, demographic, etc.
