Place of the infrastructure in the forming of the safety in the road traffic

Summary/Abstract: In the study a scale and main causes of accidents were presented in the road traffic in Poland. They stated that the direct effect of the state of the infrastructure to the accident toll was slight, because it is an indiscretion and the bravado of participants in the movement in the main measuring cup is contributing to the low-born road safety. In order to prevent accidents and reduce the number of fatalities, educational activities should be strengthened towards road users, especially children and adolescents, and road lighting improved. Separating the motor traffic is important action than bicycle, and especially a pedestrian, creating such a situation, in order to mounted and for pedestrians sequences how least they crossed on the same level as well as were divided in the permanent way.
