Summary/Abstract: In the twenty-first century, modernity is closely related to automation. Companies wishing to gain a competitive advantage and meet the needs of clients must open up to modern solutions that will allow them to gain an advantage. Companies operating in the area of designing solutions that increase the efficiency of warehouses offer a variety of systems. They have at their disposal many forms of development of their storage areas, which include automatic high storage systems, automatic warehouses both container and pallet and support for warehouse management software – WMS/MFC. The basic storage processes performed by man are replaced by those made by machines and automated tools.
