Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to evaluate the paragliding tourism of Bayramören district with SWOT analysis. The sample of the research consisted of 50 employees of public institutions in Bayramören district. SWOT forms were filled out by the participants and then sent to the researchers by mail from the Bayramören District Governorate officials. As a result of the research, the strongest direction in the paragliding tourism of the district has been determined as natural beauty. Other strengths in paragliding tourism of the district are determined as the location, clean air and environment of the district, the suitability of the wind speed for paragliding, the presence of take-off runways for paragliding, its peaceful environment for tourists and the hospitality of the local people. As a result of the research, the weakest direction in the paragliding tourism of the district was determined as the pretty inadequate number of means of transport coming to the district. It has been observed that there are many weaknesses in the paragliding tourism of the district from the lack of opportunities such as accommodation, health, infrastructure, technical equipment to the lack of awareness of sports and tourism of the local people; from the risky parts of Bayramören road for the travel to the absence of a tourist information office. On the other hand, as a result of the research, it is revealed that the accidents result in injuries in the activities are the biggest threat in the paragliding tourism of the district while the district’s experience in paragliding activity is the biggest opportunity in the paragliding tourism.
