Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to determine the factors that affect the performance of small-scale accommodation enterprises. In this context first of all, the efficiency of small-scale enterprises was revealed comparatively, and then the distinguishing features of efficient and inefficient enterprises were determined. The data was collected through face-to-face interviews from 24 accommodation establishments operating in Manavgat, which is one of Turkey's most important tourism destination. Input-oriented Data Envelopment Analysis and non-parametric difference tests were used for the data analysis. As a result of the analysis, only 6 hotels were found to be efficient while the remaining 18 hotels were found to be inefficient. Besides, it is concluded that there are significant differences between efficient and inefficient enterprises in terms of sea distance, repeating customer rate, occupancy rate, type of activity and board type.
