Summary/Abstract: This essay is a review of the last decade’s productions of Adam Mickiewicz’s Dziady. The author writes about the phenomenon of the extremely strong presence of Mickiewicz’s drama on the Polish stage in the years 2010–2020, points to the founding moment of this trend, its climax and twilight. She devotes particular attention to the performances directed by Paweł Wodziński, Radosław Rychcik, Paweł Passini and Michał Zadara, focusing not so much on their in-depth analysis as on pointing to their critical potential overlooked by reviewers or visible from today’s perspective.
