Summary/Abstract: This essay is about art of Joseph Beuys and his philosophical concepts. He was a German Fluxus, happening, and performance artist as well as a sculptor, installation artist,graphic artist, art theorist, and pedagogue.Joseph Beuys’s Works are motivated from authentically weltanschauung. From the initial stage of creative activity he combines concepts in a broad social, psychological and philosophical context. Critics have appreciated the emblematic character of Beuys works, the essence of which has motifs from the animal world (swans, deer,rabbits, sheep, bees etc.), tying them with a mythological and anthropological inner thread.
