Summary/Abstract: The novel A woman in yellow in the Buddha’s forest is a kind of play between the religious metanarrative and the political metanarrative, where the first is embraced and the last is rejected, and both are given under the prism of a minimalist narrative of the life of an Albanian intellectual. The great formal division of this chapter suggests a reading of the narrative elements, the elements of the modernist and postmodernist model and the relations of this novel with religious, philosophical,political, literary, etc.
