Summary/Abstract: Blindness and low vision imply a number of negative consequences in specific areas of preschoolers and student‘s psychological and social functioning. This paper presents special educational and developmental needs of students and preschoolers with visual impairment. It shows also the role and importance of tools that can be used to make the education more effective and easier for them.
