Education to free time – upbringing environments and the development of new technology. The ways contemporary youth is spending free time. Own research

Summary/Abstract: The issue of free time and reasonable ways of spending it is attracting more and more attention among pedagogues and sociologists. Free time filled with inappropriate activities may result in dangerous plays and plenty of fateful ideas, which are inappropriate from the educational point of view. Even the fact of not spending this time in a reasonable way inhibits child development. However, a proper organisation of children’s spare time holds an enormous significance to their development, both mental and physical. The ways of spending free time will be presented on the basis of own research conducted among the students of middle schools in Myślenice County.
