Summary/Abstract: Elijah, the prophet is undoubtedly a unique figure both for the Old Testament and for Christ’s disciples. His life can be served as a model for the evangelists of God’s word. Elijah’s virtues, like faith and devotion to God’s word made his mission powerful. They also strengthened his impression of being the genuine prophet of the Only Jahweh. Studying Elijah’s history is certainly useful for the contemporary prophets of The Only God.
