Summary/Abstract: A tip of a sword scabbard from the Great Migration period was found at Yaskovichi-1 settlement (Bel. Yaskavichy, Saligorsk raion, Minsk Voblast, Belarus) in 2018. The bouterolle comes from the cultural layer and correlates with the small-volume materials of the Prague culture. It belongs to the circle of tips with masks characteristic of the Western European horizon of swords with gold handles. Based on the analysis of analogies and performance style, it is assumed that the bouterolle from Yaskovichi could have been produced in the region of the Middle Danube in the middle — second half of the 5th century.
