Summary/Abstract: The article is a publication of a Middle Sarmatian burial, excavated on the Miyaly burial ground (Atyrau region, Republic of Kazakhstan) in 2017 (barrow 9, burial 2). In connection with the poorly studied sites of the Middle Sarmatian time of the North-Eastern Caspian, linking the steppes of the Southern Urals and the Lower Volga region, each new investigated complex in the region is of interest. The published burial was the main one in the barrow. Despite the robbery during which the skeleton of the buried was destroyed, the surviving grave goods (a bronze cauldron, gold sewing plaques, a gold pendant) and the features of the funerary rite make it possible to establish the Sarmatian cultural affiliation of this complex and date it back to the 1st—2nd centuries AD.
