LOGISTICS SUPPORT OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENCE SUBORDINATE STRUCTURES, DEPLOYED OUTSIDE BUCHAREST GARRISON. PROPOSALS TO STREAMLINE

Summary/Abstract: Through its central structures, Ministry of National Defense organizes its entire activity to fulfill its main of managing activity in the field of national defense according to the law and national security strategy, in order to guarantee the sovereignty, independence and unity of the state, territorial integrity and constitutional democracy and participate with forces and means in carrying out the tasks assumed by Romania as a member of NATO. This paper proposes an overview of activities performed to ensure the timely and effective logistics support of the central structures of the Ministry of National Defence subordinate units, deployed outside Bucharest garrison, taking into account all functional areas of logistics. The efficiency of above-mentioned logistics support units depends on the optimal organization of the flow of logistics information, as well as on existing and used standardized procedures.
