Situation of residential policy in kujawsko-pomorskie voivodship

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the situation of housing policy in the kuyavian-pomeranian voivodeship against the background in Poland. Using the methods of statistical research, the authors defined the state of housing in the region and on this basis they defined the strategic directions of the housing policy of the voivodship. The research shows that there are profound differences in the area of meeting the housing needs depending on the type of settlement (large cities, other cities, villages). In addition, the level of satisfaction of housing needs in the voivodeship is lower than in the whole country. As a result, a policy is needed to reduce the differences in the voivodeship and to achieve a national average in meeting the housing needs of the region.
