Summary/Abstract: The Pascha feast gathers everyone in the house and is passed down from generation to generation. The sacred holidays are a means of educating and catechizing the young. The place where the Feast of Pascha is celebrated, after the Church, is the Christian family. However, the times of instability we are in now can put many families in difficulty. Whether it is about secularization, globalization, lack of moral values, or poverty that determines many Romanians to go to work abroad, all these weakens the family. The fact that the family is so vulnerable is also due to the lack of sacrificial love. Approaching the subject at an ideal level, Saint John Chrysostom calls the family “ecclesia domestica”, and sees it based on love and sacrifice. Let us not forget that this year is dedicated, however, by the Holy Synod, to the pastoral care of parents and children. Parents should have serious spiritual concerns, including those related to the celebration of Pascha and pass them on to their children.
