Summary/Abstract: Terrorism is a spreading plague of our days. Degrading level of security in public places, all around western Europe and not only, is a fact. Fear is often a shared sentiment for many citizens living, working and visiting western Europe.Financial consequences cannot be neglected in terms of both increasing costs for providing security services and financial losses for businesses (tourism industry is the first to suffer). For people coming from Eastern Europe, unfortunately, there is a kind of feeling simmilar to visiting Middle East after Arab spring or/and even Afghanistan. The comparison might be hurting badly but his is true. Eiffel Tower sorrounded by glass wall, access in pedestrian areas blocked with concrete blocks, military patrols with full gear and checkpoints in towns - all these obviously sometimes remind me of Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, between 2010-2015 took place serious developments in terms of deterioration of security status. Information coming from different official sources on the evolution of security, were contradictory due to different interests of those organizations. International connections of terrorists and their support coming from foreign states, are commnon allegations which day by day proved to be true. Taliban and ISIL presence in Afghanistan it is obvious. These two groups of terrorists are active and are posing real threats not only to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan but also to the whole world, in one way or another. After so many years of international presence in Afghanistan, Taliban stay strong controlling such a percentage of the teritory which makes impossible the rulling of the country by central government. This is also possible to be the main reason why ISIS tried to find a safe heaven in Afghanistan.
