Summary/Abstract: This article proposes a reflection on how to construct a didactic course for teaching /learning the reading of texts in specialized French by the non-philological students (here, economist students in the field of Marketing and Finance-Banks). The text is divided into two main parts. In the first part, the theoretical articulations that should underlie such a didactic approach are explained.Notions of specific thematic content, discursive genre and reading strategy oriented to a specific purpose are discussed. The second part of the article exemplifies, starting from a chapter in Le française conomique par des textes. Itinéraires de lecture et de production textuelle en français langue étrangère published by the author in 2015, the way in which the didactic course aimed at teaching the texts of the "invoice" type and "sale-purchase contract" combines the theoretical articulations discussed in the first part of the article, with an emphasis on the area of understanding the logos,abbreviations and specific collocations.
