Summary/Abstract: Taking into consideration the current focus of our society on the individualneeds, the history teacher needs to put into value his/her own teaching potential, mainly when we talk about how we can develop it among the students over the studyyears at school.Nowadays, at the beginning of the new millennium, we are facing the need totransform the teaching-learning activity of history into a practical one, and the mostimportant role when it comes to allowing students to understand history is played bythe teacher. He/she is the person who has to combine the dynamic strategies with thelearning tools, to make sure that he/she achieves the performance standards duringeach class. In the teaching-learning process of learning history the use of the computer isidentified as an auxiliary technology of the entire educational-instructive process, which means that we define the notions by means of the computer assisted learning. This concept refers to the area of using computers in a theoretical and practicalmanner, with the remark that the activity of teaching history, in this article, refers toa person – the teacher – who has the role to present a few of the theoretical aspectsregarding this perspective.
