Summary/Abstract: When the Magi from the East came to Jerusalem, and asked where is “the king of the Jews, the One who was born!” (Mathew 2:2), the scholars found the answer in the Holy Scriptures. This truth proclaimed by the Holy Scriptures is also passed on through our carols. The Bible holds an exceptional place in the life of mankind. The Holy Scripture always had and still has a special role for our Romanian people. And not only for our people, but for all the peoples of the world. From the Holy Scripture we take spiritual nourishment, we become aware of the teachings of Christ, who took on flesh and became man for us and for our salvation. No other book has received the admiration and praise that the Holy Scripture has. This is where we find the answers to the most important questions of the humankind, who created us, what is our purpose on earth and our terminus.
