An Analysis on the Opportunity of Introducing Blockchain Technology in Education - A Case Study

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the initiative to increase the flexibility of final year student activity and the results obtained. The didactic achievements illustrated by the grades obtained during the last 3 years show higher performance in students who adopted flexible ways to accomplish their academic activity. The students' opinion was determined through applying questionnaires comparing the activity in the classic way and in the flexible way. The conclusions show the opportunity for a flexible way of organizing the activity, while the organizational difficulties justify the need to use Blockchain technology in managing the attendance and the grades obtained by students.
