Summary/Abstract: Current trends in the development of the methodological basics of music pedagogy are considered in the context of the interdisciplinary strategy of scientific research with the cultural vector prioritized within its framework. The article discusses options of the implementation of this strategy at the intersection of music pedagogy and ethnopsychology, culture history, organology, and in particular, campanology. It draws attention to the importance of the synthesis of arts in the education of future music teachers as one of the conditions for the development of their professional competencies
