Summary/Abstract: Based on the presumption that the Internet cannot be treated as a homogeneous medium but more as a set of environments, the way in which fans of Harry Potter books and movies grasp opportunities given by environments such as World Wide Web and Live Journal to embed in them the variety of their practices is presented.
