A CRITIQUE OF IDEOLOGIES IN BUSULADZIC'S POINT OF VIEW

Summary/Abstract: This work concerns itself with the point of view of Mustafa Busuladzic through his criticism of totalitarian ideologies. Namely, this author is one of the rare few who seriously concerned themselves with this phenomenon and thus was the most authentic critic of ideologies in these parts. As a response to the social question he offered an intellectual novelty 'Islamic socialism' and presented it as an alternative to the failed Western model of solving the social problem, the likes of Fascism and Communism. He argues that all these ideologies have been unsuccessful because they disregard human needs. These concepts neglect those values which form the essence of man – religion, morality, culture and art.
