Summary/Abstract: Yeremia Qyomurchyan (1637-1695) is one of the most prominent Armenian historiographs of the XVII century; he was born in Constantinople in the family of a monk. Though he lived in social environment of the Ottoman Empire full of different cultural relations, he carried all the features of the intellectual progress that had begun with the political and economic reorganization of the Armenian reality in XVII-XVIII centuries. Qyomurchyan is the author of a large number of historiographical-topographical, religious and literary works. His manuscripts are spread all over the world: one can find his works in the libraries of Yerevan, Venice, Vienna, Paris etc. Unfortunately they are mostly unpublished. This article is a brief reference to the most considerable works of Yeremia Chelepi Qyomurchyan, which are important primary sources not only for the Armenian studies, but also for Medieval and Ottoman studies.
