Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on specific form of theistic evolution in this particular field called evolutionary creationism. The article shows how its author Denis O. Lamoureux differs his theory from theistic evolution moreover he demarcates evolutionary creationism from theories of concordism, god-of-the-gaps and intelligent design. Described first step allows author to continue in his attempt to unite Christian theory of creation and evolutionary theory. He employs specific way of hermeneutics while reading Bible. He believes meanings from Bible we gain reading this particular way never can oppose newest achievement in science. The main problem that must be solved on the way to the unity of evolutionary theory and Christian creationism is the contrast of disteleology and teleology.
