Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to describe and analyse Impact of Second Vatican Council on attitude to Church toward World in Czech countries. The Church and the World were very different mental environments in Czech countries, because of communistic government, what effort to eliminate the Church. This paper is seeking answers for questions about posibilities to put in to practice ideas of above-mentioned Coun cil. Church in czech countries during of communistic period was looking for the ways how to survive and exist. The Church response in differents ways: collaborated, co-existed, passive resistance, active resistance. Part of Church was in underground, part in exil as well. Second Vatican Council encourage to take a responsibility for society and read signifi cance of time.
