“KITEZH-GRAD”: PICTURE TRANSFORMATIONS

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to establish correlation between the word “Kitezh” and the world view in different literary works. The article focuses on some peculiarities of “Grad Kitezh” as a special type of space - mythological and symbolic. The transformations of this image are viewed within the context of the history of Russian literature and spiritual culture.
