METAPHYSICAL ISSUES IN S.A. YESENIN’S POETRY

Summary/Abstract: The author aims to offer a fresh approach to examining Sergey Yesenin’s poetry. The article explores religiosity, metaphysical images and motifs primarily from the methodological point of view. The poet’s world-outlook contradictions are shown through the Biblical symbolism. The parallel “S. Yesenin - A. Pushkin” can be traced.
