Some Issues of Decision-Making of Slovak Households

Summary/Abstract: On Some Issues of Decision-Making of Slovak Households. The paper deals with the issues of decision-making. It focuses on the knowledge of selected aspects of decision-making in households, which has so far received only marginal attention. It answers the question to what activities households perform in the decision-making process, identifies the main decision makers and circumstances that limit their decision-making. Based on the statements of more than 500 households about decision-making in eight selected activities and leisure time it provides initial information about Slovak households in term of their decision-making.
