Summary/Abstract: The topic of the paper is the relationship between analytic philosophy and process philosophy. The dominant opinion amongst philosophers is that they are incompatible. In fact, many points of contact can be found. The paper investigates several points: what some analytical philosophers have said about process thought; what kind of analytical themes can be found in Whitehead.s philosophy; what kind of analytical themes can be found in some contemporary process thinkers and what is common between post-analytic philosophy and process philosophy. The conclusion is made that both analytic and process philosophies have great future, which will be marked with greater dialog and greater understanding and collaboration between both traditions.
