Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine pre-service teachers' lifelong learning tendencies. The study group of the study consists of 2nd grade teacher candidates (n = 66) studying in the Department of Turkish Education in the Faculty of Education within the scope of the Lifelong Learning lesson in the 2018-2019 academic year. The "Lifelong Learning Tendency Determination Scale" developed by Diker Coşkun (2009) and the semistructured interview form prepared by Bulaç (2019) have been used as data collection tools in the study. The scale for determining lifelong learning tendencies consists of 27 items. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the scale with four sub-dimensions (motivation, persistence, lack of learning organization, and lack of curiosity) has been found to be 89. And the semi-structured interview form consists of 9 questions. While preparing the interview form, to determine the questions literature review has been made and expert opinions have been applied. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the life-long tendencies of the teacher candidates is at a good level. In addition, it has been determined that there is no significant difference in the lifelong learning tendencies of the Turkish Education Department students according to gender. According to the data obtained from the interview form, it has been understood that the candidates are aware of the concept of lifelong learning, eager to learn and curious individuals.
