Summary/Abstract: The paper intents to give a perspective for amateur engineers who are related in company transformation from a current situation to the industry 4.0 and IoT implementation. The present work is focused on people without any kind of expertise or specialization of IoT or automation concepts, but due to the possibility of being involved in topics related to industry 4.0 have the needs to have any kind of basic knowledge in order to know if a small or medium enterprises need these kinds of new technology.
