Foreign investment as the factor of economic growth in Poland

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the impact of FDI on economic growth in Poland in the years 1995-2012. The analysis is theoretical and empirical. Introduction to Polish companies of modern technologies and new forms of management and organization of production, contributed to the improvement of their performance, enabled an increase in the production of high-quality and increase productivity, thereby contributing to economic growth. Foreign investors, making the transfer of portfolio capital, hastened the development of financial markets in Poland, mainly financing the borrowing needs of the state budget. Since 2001 inflow of portfolio investments had a significant impact on the volatility of foreign exchange rates.–
