Summary/Abstract: Crisis management of the socio-economic system to some extent should always be difficult. Crisis management of the socio-economic system is management that identifies the economic and managerial dangers of the crisis and organizational stress, as well as an analysis of its symptoms, measures to reduce the negative effects of the crisis, and use its factors for further development. The possibility of crisis management is determined primarily by the human factor. Conscious human activity allows you to search and find a way out of critical situations, concentrate efforts on solving problems, and use the experience of overcoming crises and organizational stress. In addition, the possibility of crisis management is determined by knowledge of the cyclical nature of the development of socio-economic systems. This allows you to predict crisis situations. The need for crisis management of socio-economic systems is determined by the development goals of the municipality
