Summary/Abstract: This research presents two important works of the Japanese writer Shushako Endo, the most famous Christian writer from his country and one of the most important nowadays writers. The investigation focuses on the first part of his novel The Samurai, where he develops again, like in Silence, a Christian reason, while the second part is dedicated to one of his psychological novels, very important too, both for his literary profile as for the contemporary literature. We consider important to make him well known in the theological space, to which he is linked by his convictions and work.
