Summary/Abstract: This interview presents the spiritual and intellectual journey of His Eminence Macarie Dragoi, the first Romanian Orthodox bishop of Northern Europe, as well as his achievements in this capacity. He speaks very fondly about the wonders of his childhood spent in the countryside and the adult's consciousness, beneficial, but also causing pain and nostalgia. At the end of the interview, he presents the joys and hardships of his pastoral activity, as well as the challenges of his ministry in the northern countries.
