Summary/Abstract: The Holy Fathers interpret the hymn of glory brought to God by angels at the Birth of Christ and the song of peace and good will toward men, as peace between men and God, or the reconciliation of fallen man with his Creator. However, we could also interpret the words “On earth peace and good will”, spoken by angels, as God’s project with humanity, which, through the Incarnation of His Son, was called to peace and good will, mutual respect and pleasant coexistence between all the nations of the earth., However, because of the human weaknesses, the fallen nature of man and the scheming of the one who is the father of division and injustice and works with malice and wickedness against God’s plan, things did not enter into the order desired by God and proclaimed by angels. The killing of the 14,000 infants, according to Herod’s command in Bethlehem of Judea, is the first criminal act against God, the Source of Life and the first crime against humanity that took place after the Incarnation of the Savior. Inspired and encouraged by Herod’s criminal act, dark men, like him, for 2000 years have humiliated, oppressed, wronged, banished and murdered the children and sons of God, the Christians.
