Summary/Abstract: The book “Burnt Youth” is a diary that was not intended to be published. It presents the events of the Second World War and the years after it. They are refracted through the personal worldview of Mityo Delchev – participant in these events. His son Peyo Delchev makes them public today to illuminate history through the eyes of people who have not had a say in decades.
