Summary/Abstract: The spread of SARS-CoV-2 highlighted some international conflicts, but it is too early to ascertain all of the spillover. These tendencies can be observed though in the tensions between the United States and China, or in the South and the East Asia regions. In this paper, under a perspective mixing realism and power transition theory, there are summed the main events that occurred during the first half of 2020, in the East Asia and the nuclear domain.
