Educating Mediation in Professional Contexts

Summary/Abstract: Mediation activities in language education are not limited exclusively to cross-linguistic translation, but also to the interlinguistic one. The same message can be relayed in different ways, depending on the situation and the language register of the interlocutor. This type of mediation can be applied in language for specific purposes classes especially. The teacher should, therefore, effectively manage the process of mediation and make it as interdisciplinary as possible.
