Summary/Abstract: The growing role of Asian economies and the necessity to acquire non-European markets’ share means that Poland aims to develop cooperation with Asian partners. Therefore, the article is devoted to the positive example of building Polish economic relations with its strategic partner – South Korea. The article presents barriers to entry each market and prospective areas of cooperation. First part of the article explains characteristics of Korean economy. Second part shows the history of Polish-Korean economic relations. Next part presents Korean companies operating in Poland and companies with Polish capital on Korean market. Last part answers the question about possible cooperation directions between these two countries.
